TWISTED EDGE

Custom Show Quality

Powder Coating

Welcome to Twisted Edge.

Our goal is to provide the best show quality powder coating for automotive, motorcycles, ATV's, bicycles or whatever you need. We are constantly reviewing and checking the

newest equipment and technology within the powder community to provide cutting

edge service and quality in all of our processes

Our purchase of a top of the line GEMA Optiflex powder coating system along with a negative pressure filtered powder booth plus using powder that is from one of the

country's leading manufactures allows us to provide the best possible finish in the industry.

Our current blast cabinet size is 48"x37"x23" when we receive our second cabinet

it will double our capacity to 48"x74"x23" which will be big enough to fit larger

items such as bumpers, motorcycle frames, engine blocks, etc. Keeping the blasting

in-shop allows us to maintain the highest standards in blasting/stripping to

provide the cleanest and best profile for powder adhesion and also to keep the cost

as low as we possibly can, compared to the cost of outsourcing the process.

What our blasting setup will look like when we receive the second cabinet......

Our current oven size is 78.5"x48"x40.5" we have a overhead track system that allows us to slide large pieces/racks from our inclosed negitive pressure powder booth directly into the oven.

With over 6500 colors, embedded graphics and many finishes such as pearls, metal flake, high temp powders and even glow in the dark the possibility's are endless and only limited

by imagination. We also offer liquid paint to perfectly match any of our powder colors.

If you are not familiar with powder coating it is a combination of pigment and resin that
is ground into a powder form. The powder is then charged with high voltage which is attracted to the electrically grounded item to be coated. In the next step the item is heated
in a curing oven until the powder flows into a liquid form. After curing for a specific amount
of time, the part is then removed to cool, leaving a high quality, durable finish.

Any metal, plastic, glass or material that can withstand temps of 400*F can be powdercoated.

Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, scratching,
fading and wearing than paint and many other finishes.

Color selection is virtually unlimited with high and low gloss, metallic, textures and clear finishes available. Colors stay bright and vibrant longer. Texture selections range from smooth surfaces to a wrinkled or matte finish and rough textures designed for hiding
 surface imperfections.
