Automotive Parts Pricing
Since it would be impossible to stock even a fraction of the 6500 colors available and to ensure the best possible finish by coating with fresh powder, the prices listed below are based on the stock colors of:
Cloud White, Ink Black, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Clear.
Any other colors or additives such as flattner or Prismatic/Pearls will include a custom color charge. Normally this charge will be $20 but may be higher for certain colors.
To guarantee fresh powder our supplier mixes the powder on all orders, with shipping this results in up to a 7-10 day order/delivery time please expect this with any custom color orders.
Certain colors require a base coat or top coat to achieve the desired color, as such these colors will be priced as two coat.
While we will provide upon request liquid paint with a guaranteed color match to any of our 6500 powder colors we do not apply any type of liquid paints.
Light media profile blasting charges are included in the prices on the list. Additional blasting charges will apply to items requiring removal of old powder coating, E-coating, paint or having intricate detail work,. Many times it is impossible to tell how hard the coating is going to be to remove until you do it. Our current shop rate for blasting is $60hr, if the item is to large for our blast cabinet we will out source our blasting so that will be billed as the amout of actual blasting time at the blasters hourly rate of $115hr plus transportation costs.
Please call for quotes large orders, or if you are planning on having many parts done at once in one color so we can give you the best price possible.
All part must be able to withstand 400 degrees for extended amounts of time.
It is the customer's responsibility to disassemble parts including removing all bearings, seals, gaskets, bushings, etc. prior to pre-treatment. Parts should be clean: free of oil and grease.
A cleaning charge will be applied for any parts that require additional cleaning.
Items cannot contain any Bondo or filler.
Out gassing is a problem on some cast parts but usually can be controlled with preheating and/or a "out-gassing additive" although with some parts such as old "pot metal" it may be impossible to achieve a blemish free finish.
Chemical pre-treatment and an abrasive media will be used on parts.
The maximum size part we are able to coat at this time must fit in a 78.5"x48"x40.5"oven.
